Hello,

I am experiencing spikes, but it is not in every game. I am able to tell a few seconds after i entered a battle.net game, if this is going to be a spiky game. It can happen with three games between or fifteen. It happens both when I am alone on the net and when my brother is online. I have never tried it on GGC!
The wierd thing is, that it lasts for ONE game. As soon as the game is over, my spiking experience stops and the next game can be without any kinds of spikes. The spikes happen appear every 2-3 seconds, and lasts for 0.2-0.3 seconds.

Please help =)

Are they caused by your connection or your PC?

That is a big concern for me aswell, but when I am on teamspeak the voices spike while I am having my spike in wc3. I just don't get why the connection would be spiking for one game and not the next one. It is spiking for the entire game no matter the lenght of it.

I doubt that, since I am the only person experiencing this problem and it occurs very often.

Are you on a laptop or desktop, regardless check where your fans are see if their dusty. This dust might cause your pc to overheat faster than usual (happened to a friend of mine). Give it a thorough cleaning (Dont use liquids!) You might want to use a duster. Hope this helps

Im using a rather new desktop with great specifications (2.8 Dual Core, 3GB Ram, 1000GB hdd, GeForce 8600GT) Despite the great computer I cleaned it a month ago. I guess its worth a try Thank you.

another issue could be the internet connection issue, the way to check it is, @ command prompt, type ping <your isp website> -t, run it for 5 mins, see is there is any frequent ping time outs, dont use your internet connection while testing.

there is also games stuttering problem, check it if it is happen to be yours.
