Help with Counter-Strike1.6 please.

Hello, whenever I play Couonter-Strike 1.6, I get lag spikes. Like it isn't the server because it happens on every server. I lag because of loss, i'm running on a XPS, Vista PC. It happens my house and as well as my dad which are 2 different routers. It's not FPS lag, it feels like i'm having a lot of loss/choke. My rates are: rate 25000, cl_cmdrate 101, cl_updaterate 101. My friend plays on the same internet with the same rates, but he doesn't lag or no one skips.

Well, I posted this on other websites too such as fnatic.com and team3d.net and they all say it's Windows Vista. But yes, I do have a wi-fi connection.

I have a wi-fi also but I have this problem because of my routter ;p. I run xp but sometin in the router config gives mi a 2 sek lag ( ping round 3000) once per hour.
try to play on xp with the router, or change it config

i have vista and i dont lag constantly but i get it every now and then it could be because of your wi-fi :/ it updates its self like every 30 seconds you can change it, im not to sure how to tho!
