Farseer = best Orc in Korea

I'm not saying this just because I'm a huge fan of TM.H, but I think Farseer is now the best Orc in Korea (I'm more familiar with the Korean scene so I won't bring the Euros like Grubby, Ciara. Rholle, RotterDaM and Elakeduck into the discussion).

Over the last few months, he's not only been the most innovative Orc player but also the most dangerous against the Orc's most difficult matchup, NE. If it wasn't for him, the Blademaster wouldn't be the mainstream hero he is now (especially on LT and Echo Isles) and his mass trolls, Naga second, DR/TC third against NE could be the next "big thing" since, well, the Moon-MagicYang collaboration mass DoTTs Cyclone and tri-hero with summonables.

If I had to rank them, I would go:

Farseer-- Gives hope to Orcs everywhere that mass DoTTs, tri-hero summonables does not equal gg.

BerA-- His power-creeping SH first with Blademaster second with Mirror Image against Check in the Star Wars Challenge was almost as innovative as Farseer's mass trolls.

Zacard-- A sentimental favorite who just hasn't been the same since shuttling between Korea in Germany. Often seems to dependent on Bestiary units that he struggles against mass caster strats like mass DoTTs or mass Sorceresses.

Endure-- Close to breaking into the upper echelon, though not the trailblazer that Farseer and BerA are.

Dayfly-- Not in game shape, but another sentimental favorite.

Yeh, but I don't think you can call a single player as the 'best' :/

Let's see how he performs in the WC3L etc, coping with lag k thnx

Yes, "best" is a crude way of putting it, I admit. These things tend to move in cycles and can change at the drop of a dime (Zacard could revert to his old form and quickly make this post obsolete).

I forgot to mention mouz.Romeo but he's a perfect example of the cyclical nature of top level gaming. A few months ago, he was the runner-up to Moon in the MWL and drawing comparisons to Zacard, now he hasn't been heard of in quite a while (which isn't to say his play has dropped off but perhaps that he's been keeping his gaming to himself).

Check is another name I left off (he's now second behind BerA on the Kalimdor ladder), but I'm still not sold on him as Orc. I keep thinking he's an NE masquerading as an Orc . :S

Speaking of BerA, wasn't he part of Hanbit along with Farseer? How come he's not listed as a member of TM.H]? The only Hanbitstars listed as members of the merger with mYm are Showtime, EVE, High, Susiria and Lucifer. And if he doesn't play for TM.H], who does he play for? Please-- TM.H]BerA FTW! :D

Check is back to NE, don't think High plays anymore.

As for BerA, i think that his contract probably expired with Hanbit Stars, hence he did not make it to T.MH

remember the time when romeo reached the finals in MWL, was also the time of that corrupt commentator who made the maps in favor for orc.. that might have played a role two

Wow, thanks for the info, nOnAme. :D I was wondering why High wasn't on the mYm members page. As for BerA, I know mYm has an embarassment of riches, but having BerA on the same team as Farseer would be most awesome. :))

Good to see Check revert back to NE. I guess some players were born to play a race, whether they want to or not. I tried Orc myself for a while, but couldn't deny that I'm a HU to the core. :P

Orc is a hard race tbh.. its easy to get on a skill level of like lvl 20 but then its really hard to improve.. orc is all about macro/timing.. and you learn both things not very fast, so orc is very hard to play on high lvl.. NE is easiest race to play imo.. easy beginning, easy mid, easy high lvl... Human is mid and Undead is mid too.

Hehe... Yeah, I switced to Orc coz my 2v2 partner was Orc and we were inspired by the Check/Farseer combination during the first IGE Race Wars. :P They would go SH first, double Hex with mass Grunts for fast hero-killing. That, plus the ever-popular double BM/mass Wyverns are two of the most devastating 2v2 strats I've seen regardless of race. Of course, learning a strat and implenting it are two entirely different things, as we found out the hard way. :((

I would love to see TM.H] sign BerA and maybe pair him with Farseer for some of that double Orc ownage. ;D
