WC3L Player Awards with MYM

After the CEG Stop in Xian, where some of our Warcraft 3 players participated in, the next big event comes closer and closer with every day. This time we are speaking of the WC3L Season X Finals and the Battle.net Season IV Finals. Both events will take place between the 25th and 28th of January in Colonge at the Media Park 6.

Like last year, the WC3L decided to award the best players of the 10th WC3L Season in three different categories. This time players like Netherlands 4K^Grubby, who was able to win all his matches in this Season or Russian Fede- SK-Deadman, who showed also a great performance are nominated for the Most Valuable Player. Then there are also players like the german undead player Germany SK.XlorD or the raising undead talent China WE.IGE.TeD from China. Both are nominated for the Rookie of the Season Award.

Next to these great players two of our own players are nominated for the awards. This time they are no other than our great undead duo MYM]Lucifer and MYM]Susiria, who are both two of the best undead players in Warcraft 3.

My votes went for:

MVP: Susiria
MIP: Nilknarf
Rookie: TeD

I think Grubby will go with it again, but he got the best score, so this time it isnt just caused by 'fanboys'. My vote for susi is because without him, MYM wont have madeit for the finals.

im not grubby's fanboy but look on score 20:1 solo and 16:6 2on2, susiria 20:5 and 10:9. Numbers don't lie:)

#8 Susiria won some really important matches, and generelly played fanstastic when MYM needed him to, that is a considerable fact as well..

#5 Moon is where he should be - not nominated.

I really don't know why they persit making these votes. Grubby will win the MVP as always. Don't get me wrong. Grubby is a great player and means a lot for his team, but one could argue that some of the other players have been more important for their teams.
The other categories might actually be a little less governed by for voting, but still, it is a known fact that people tend to favor the person they like the most in these votes, hereby not saying I am an exception, just that a panle votes might be more prudent ;)

MVP: When looking on the wins/losses, Grubby is a clear winner here. But if you look at how a player has single-handedly carried his team through the season, I'd go for Nilk or Soju.

MIP: RotterdaM or Nilk should get this, in my opinion. RotterdaM has improved a lot during the last Season, but so has Nilk. A hard decision.

Rookie: Here I must go for TeD. He has played very well, and only lost one of his matches, which was against Lucifer.

btw. Is it on purpose that you have 2 pictures of Lucifer in the front page icon? :D

altough i agree with nordahl that grubby wins every year and didnt deserve the last 2 years.
but now he really does 2-0 vs lucifer deadman and sky 20-1 in solo aswell as an amazing 2on2 record
bot ofcourse mym people vote for their own team instead of the player who just earns it this year :)
