The current CEO of PGS Gaming, Philipp 'ryan' Kasprowicz, got interwieved by CSHU. In the Interwiev, Kasprowicz speaks about his tasks as a CEO, the structure of the team and many other interesting points, for example finding sponsors or about contracts.
Here's a short snippet of the interview:
As you win several kinds of tournaments in the world, you may not have problems findig sponsors, or maybe, they are the ones coming to you. At the beginning, when you were a small team, how did you set-up to find sponsors?
I know from the past, that finding sponsors is one of the hardest tasks around, even if you are a very successful team, such as ours and it is even harder, if you are a very small team. The most important requirement is stability within the organization (contracts) and a serious attitude with realistic views, when it comes to business.
In the beginning, three years ago, we have been trying to contact enterprises via email, nowdays things have obviously changed.
What is your opinion, where is it worth knocking on the door (what kind of companies), and what kind of strategy is the most effective? Did you have any special experience, negative or positive?
You may understand, I won’t divulge our ways of approaching potential partners, but as before – be serious, be stable, have a good plan and strategy.
