Fragbet DevilWars CHANGES!

As there have been some problems with the scheduling and due to other reasons we are changing the scheduling format of the Fragbet DevilWars WarCraft 3 tournament slightly. There will still be enough choices for the players, but they will be limited to 6 timeslots during the weekend.

Matches now have to be played at Saturday 20:00, 21:00, 22:00 or Sunday 20:00, 21:00, 22:00.

Players need to inform me before Friday with their chosen (and agreed between the two players) timeslot. This will allow us to handle scheduling problems faster and to create bets on Fragbet on which people can bet.

So every match for the 3rd playday (Saturday, 2nd of December and Sunday, the 3rd of December) will have to be scheduled BEFORE Friday, the 1st of December at 22:00! Any matches that are not scheduled before that date will be considered void and both players will be out of the competition.

This also means that a player that does not show up for the match at the scheduled date and time will get a forfeit loss.

Seems kind of odd imo, peole who are going to dreamhack might have a hard time, or people who just has one weekend theyre away, are simply eleminated from the tournament. For me, i won't be able to show up for the 3rd round. So i might aswell forfeit the second, i guess. I would move the 3rd round one week. Would give people a fair chance to actually get it played. Technics im going to dreamhack...and i dont know if im able to play it. Since i have no idea what so ever if there will be a direct internet connection or just pure LAN.

if people will inform me of these things we can arrange something. valid reasons will always result in a chance to play the match later. it is just so we have set dates and times so people cant just dissapear anymore and say "oh ye i still have to play mine" 3 days later.

So I suggest you play the tournament if you want to win :) or your out if you can`t hold your play times. Its hard to be/act pro, thrust me I know. :))

wow if u give us a choice of 3 times a day (only 3 hours difference) why dont u just make it only 1 exact hour a day ( for example 20:00 ) so people dont have to schedule their games at all... just come for the time of the match, play the mach and thats it.
