The PGL 2007 event which takes place in Beijing until the 26th of July started two days ago with the first matches. The first set of matches were the so called KOF Team Matches in which four teams played in an double elimination system against each other.

Today the team members turned to opponents as every team is now a group in which the players play against each other. All matches are played in a best of three mode, while the loser of each sub match picks the next map which has to be played. Like the team matches this groupstage is also played in an double elimination system.

The matches of the first group which contains BeT.Fov, 4K^ToD, wNv.TH000 and last but not least WE.Suho were played this morning.

As you can see from the tables 4K^ToD and wNv.TH000 were able to reach the first two ranks in their group. Therefore both are qualified for the Final K.O round, while BeT.Fov and WE.SuhO have to move to another double elimination stage.
