ESL DotA KotH sign ups started
2on2, cup, dota, esl. koth, first
As we already reported to you, the Electronic Sports League (ESL) started a new format for DotA - King of the Hill. Its principle is really simple, the current King of the Hill has to fight against the team which won the latest cup.
Now, the ESL finally started the very limited sign ups with only 32 maximum participants for the first KotH cup. The format for this very first ESL DotA KotH challenge will be 2on2 and the rules are quite similar to the ones of the ESL DotA 2on2 Opening Cup.
The whole cup will be held on this Wednesday at 16:00 CET. For every round all teams get only one hour and after three of them there is a short break of another hour.
Since this is the first ESL DotA Koth cup the winner of this one won't have to play any further matches to become the first KotH.
