Interview with JesseQ

interview, jesseq, q, team

SK-Gaming was recently able to catch Sweden JesseQ, a former Counter-Strike gamer who plays DotA now. He is a member of the famous Clan Team Q, which is semi active in the last time. Nowadays there were a lot of rumors related to a possible comeback of the team.

Beside some personal questions he tells a lot about his opinion of DotA Allstars, Team Q and of course the comeback rumors.

Here is a short preview of the Interview:

Hi there JesseQ! Please tell us a bit about yourself as an introduction to our readers.
Hi, my name is Jens Sjöbeck and I’m 23 years old. I got my own flat in Malmö, Sweden, but haven’t been single for a year. I’m both studying and working so I’m a busy young man.

What makes DotA so fun?
As far as I know there's no other game that requires such instant team play, adaptation and improvisation as DotA. Even though the critics may say that we play on the same map over and over again, those three key factors keep the game fresh. I guess I haven’t really felt that in any other game. The only thing I’m lacking that both Counter-Strike and StarCraft gave me is some big serious tournaments. I do not have any pro-gaming dreams anymore and it’s not making a living on DotA I am looking for. It’s just that the bigger the prize pool is the harder the competition, which makes it more entertaining to compete.

i think cs is a bit related to dota. u need teamwork. u need gangbang. u need strategy. u need mouse control (well, cs need more mouse control than dota). a bit similar rite ? except for the genre.
