tPD.DotA taking a break

break, tpd.dota

tPDThe well known American DotA-squad of United State- Team Pandemic (tPD) is taking a break from DotA, because they are tired and disappointed of the North American DotA scene, since there was no major LAN-event. They were busy with personal tasks and due to the lack of practice they were out of shape. We will see if tPD.DotA is coming back or if it is just the beginning of the disband. Below you can find the roster of tPD.DotA:

Canada Larry 'Fachh' Li

United State- Doug 'Wedge' Anderson

Canada Armin 'SwissBeatZ' Pasic

United State- Eugene 'Dijongenie' Kim

Canada James 'Criss.Ange' Bell

United State- Nick 'Yoshi' Spagnolo

Canada Eric 'Bankai' Bisson

United State- Had 'inDe_eD' Tobias

Canada Andre 'HiT0Mi' Semmler

Canada Fachh, the leader of the tPD.DotA squad posted a short statement in DotA-Allstars´ forum:

"At this point Team Pandemic is taking a break from DOTA.
Two months ago we discussed in private forums how we were all dissapointed there was no major North American Lan and I suggested taking a break as many of us were losing the drive to stay at a top level in dota.
It was apparent to everyone that the team was out of shape after laying down for an anal assault from x6, I was out of practice, DJ is playing some other game, James is busy as eff, Wedge as well with work.
For now as a team we are taking a break. We will be back if and when that CGESA league starts up or something comes along to give us the motivation to play/practice.
On a side note, Team Canada will be givin er to try to take the nationscup."

North American DOTA is so sad and depressing because of no major LANs. Don't think maybe teams will keep interest for much longer.

Interest has been there from the players, but not the sponsors.
