Like last season there is the possibility to take part in the GosuGamers StarLeague through one of the two Qualifiers. The top four of each tournament will qualify to the GosuGamers StarLeague.
The first tournament started at 17:00 CET on Friday 29th June with 102 player participating. It took about four hours until the quarter finals were being played, the last matches before everyone would know who would take part in the league.
It was a big surprise that a couple of not expected players found their way to the quarter finals - the stage what all players and watchers pay attention for. The Swedish Dreamhack winner 
Qpad.datoby was beaten by 
CDS)Crow. And 
3D.Sudden had to surrender against fake.Mamon.oO.
The new polish LRM) acquisition 
MiStrZZZ won versus the Ukrainian 
pAq.Jersey. The fourth quarter final iwas played between the French 
kassios and the Romanian 
Jack. kassios won, but as he is not available for the league there will be a further match between Jack and NonY and the winner will take part in the GGSL.
In the semi finals Mamon won over Crow. And MiStrZZZ got a freewin over the not participating kassios. Because of the time the Final was a best out of three games match instead of playing five games. MiStrZZZ could finally win with a 2-1 score. So there is a winner and there are additional four new players in the GosuGamers StarLeague!

For sure we have to await the second qualifier but in my opinion the new GGSL Season will be quite nice with some new players in it.
