CGS: Chimera CSS Roster Changes

With the first ever season of the Championship Gaming Series (CGS), set to get underway tonight, the United State- Chicago Chimera franchise has been faced with two problems. The denial of visas to their players, Canada Garett "Grt" Bambrough and Canada Griffin "shaGuar" Benger.

As always, when a foreigner is about to attend a tournament in the United States, they apply for their visas and enter. Unfortunately for Bambrough and Benger, of the Canada Evil Geniuses, they were denied entry, because their length of stay and why they were entering, were deemed "suspicious".

In order to rectify the situation, Chicago Chimera will be calling up two of their players from their taxi team, United State- zEx. Tonight will be the debut of United State- Erik "da_bears" Stromberg and United State- Justin "sunman" Summy. They should be included in the starting roster for at least the next two weeks, as Bambrough and Benger await confirmation of their visas.

Stromberg already has previous experience playing with Stevenson and Lari, as the three were teammates in 2006, on Evil Geniuses, while Summy has previous experience as a long time member and teammate with United State- Corey "tr1p" Dodd, when the two were active members of the compLexity organisation.

While it is unknown at this time what the impact these roster changes will have, we will certainly find out tonight, as Chicago Chimera's Evil Geniuses will take on San Francisco Optx's EF Gaming. That match is expected to begin tonight at 10PM EST (04:00CET).

That sucks. I saw them get picked, they were picked up pretty early... that must be disappointing for the franchise.

#3, According to Bambrough:

"When I answered my duration of stay for a gaming tournament was five weeks she got suspicious."

Salary however seems to have played a part as well.

There are two kind of visas (could exist more, i dont know) but in this case its obvious that the chimera's players, as far i could understand reading the statement had some kind of visa (probably a tourist one) that didn't fit in the regular papers for persons that will go work for another country.
