Check Six Adds Fifth

badapples, check, check six, simp, six, source, x6

Following the Championship Gaming Series (CGS) draft a few weeks ago, the Check Six Source team, formerly known as One Eyed Zomblerz, became one of several Championship Gaming Series (CGS) taxi teams, and will be known as the "farm" team for the Dallas Venom franchise.

Although they will not be able to get all the perks of being a CGS franchise drafted team, they will certainly get to learn much before the second season draft, where they will have another shot at being drafted as a franchise Source team.

As they wait, the team will undergo a small roster change this evening, announcing Rob "simp" Bair's departure. Bair will be leaving the team, as he has decided to go inactive from the scene. As the team was down a man, they spent little time searching for a suitable replacement as the former Hyper! and TEoS player, Cory "badappleS" Branagan, will take on the new role.

Branagan isn't new to the Source scene, and has had his share of success so far, including great placings at events such as EverLAN event in 2006. Branagan's addition will be shortcoming, as the team will get right into preparations for several leagues, such as the two popular online leagues, Cyber Evolution (CEVO) and the Cyberathlete Amateur League (CAL).

I had a chance to ask x6.Hydrolis about the recent pick-up, who had this to say:

CheckSix as an organization has always been very supportive of our CSS team, and we are very pleased our roster has brought badappleS into the lineup.

With the continuous success of x6.CSS over the past months, it is a shame that simp is taking a break, but it is understandable. With that being said, Cory is a humble player (much like the others on the team) with a very high level of skill, and we know he will represent the organization well on all fronts.

Be sure to watch him and the others in action in the upcoming CEVO and CAL seasons.

This addition will bring the Check Six.css team to:

United State- Eric "brawwr" Neer
United State- Carson "classified" Holt
United State- Justin "Justin" McKay
United State- Andres "misty" Gunaratne
United State- Cory "badappleS" Branagan

Meet Your Makers wishes the team and Cory Branagan, the best of luck in all leagues and future competitions.

GL to simp he was a great player. Hopefully BA can replace him full force and they will keep the chemistry they had.
