The Latinamerican Cyberathlete League announced the first edition of their World Tour. Their Press and communications department released earlier today a wordpress for international media containing the information of this Tour.

The Latinamerican Cyberathlete League greets you and also officially anounces the LCL Revolution World Tour 2007. Regardless of what have been done before, or what is yet to be done, we are pretty sure, this event will set a new facet for the E-Gaming in Latin America.
The World Tour will start in August 2007, in Caracas, Venezuela. Another places where we have confirmed our presence are: Bogotá, Colombia, Madrid, Spain, San José, Costa Rica and ending the tour in Santiago de Chile at the beginning of 2008.
Compujuegos Eventos S.A. a company which whom LCL has forged an strong alliance during the past few months will be in charge of producing the event. Moreover, Alexander Rodríguez, General Sub-Director for LCL will be in charge of this project from now on. LCL has been working on this project for the past few months now, so today, the official announcement could be made. We are pretty confident that this event will mark and change the perspective of what E-Gaming really is.
The LCL will be announcing more surprises regarding this project very soon. At this point, all is left to say is: "Viva la revolución"

When inquired about the announced, Alexander Rodríguez said:"We are pretty excited about the project. We will take our events to other countries to show our communities what we are trying to do for the Electronic Gaming in Latin America."

Also, the LCL released a poster for this event showing the concept of what they call "a revolution":

Even thou no more information has been released at the moment, we will keep a close eye on this Tour, and provide some coverage to this incoming event.

Well, I think this can be a big leap. This are not all of the countries, just the ones we are officially confirmed.
