ToD interviewed

tod, wwi

ToDAfter winning the Blizzard Worldwide Invitational last weekend, Yoan 'ToD' Merlo from 4Kings.Intel has been interviewed by the French site Esports France.

In the interview, which is conducted by WoLFoU, ToD discloses the reasons behind his staggering victories, how he trained for this high class event, and what his thoughts are on the way Blizzard handled and organized the tournament. He also tells about how the playing "boxes", in which the players are while they play their matches, are extremely uncomfortable, mainly due to the heat.

Below you will find a short snippt of the interview.

How do you explain that you are one of those who are able to beat Moon (as opposed to Sky) ? Is your gamestyle more adapted to beat him ?
I don't know... First i played Moon a lot more than Sky, did I ? Sky is in a bad shape against Moon but it's rather recent. Perhaps he's simply his nemesis. Everyone has one or more players against who he has more difficulties to win. Sky beats everybody except Moon, so his nemesis is Moon. But we have to let him more time because i know that he is practicing very hard to beat him.

If you now feel like reading the whole interview, head on over to the Esports France site!

It's not like if someone lose or wins a tournament tells if he is in shape of not imo.

Acctually, I think that if anything proves if you're in shape or not : P To be able to consecutively beat some of the worlds best players without any lag advantage whatsoever shows pretty well if you're worth your salt or not.

Any play over the internet is debatable on the other hand : P
