fRoD interviewed

cadred.org, cgs, col, complexity, frod

The famous Finnish multigaming organization Insigna Cadre website has recently caught up with one of the most talented gamers in the US Counter Strike:Source scene, and it's none other than United State- Danny "fRoD" Montaner.

The interview is included in a weekly feature the website offers to its readers, called " The team of the week " where the website chooses a new team on a weekly basis, and gives a small description of its members, their achievements along with an interview of one of the team's players.

Here's a snippet of the interview :

IC: First of all, congratulations on your win in CEVO-p. How important was it for you guys as a team?

fRoD: Everything we do is extremely important for our team, especially with the roster change earlier in the year. It feels great being rewarded for all our hard work.

IC: There seem to have been a lot of roster changes recently amongst the top teams in the US, all scavaging for a place in CGS. How do you think this is affecting the scene as a whole, and how do you think it compares to the Euro scene right now?

fRoD: I dont think it is necessarily about the American vs Europe roster changing comparison, but moreso about 1.6 vs Source. When looking back at the top American 1.6 organizations, there is very little to no roster changes. This helps those organizations build great names through their players, as well as gaining experience as a whole by simply staying together. I admit it's quite sad seeing all the changes as of late in the Source community, but I guess it's for the better and hopefully those teams have made their final changes for CGS. I don't really know much about the European source scene yet, except I hope some of their amazing 1.6 teams switch over!
