The German gaming organization
pod virtual gaming added several new players to the roster of their Warcraft 3 team.
After one of their key players,
Nikita "NapS" Shatokhin, decided to end his gaming career due to personal reasons, the organization felt they needed to strengthen the roster of their Warcraft squad for the upcoming seasons of NGL Two and the ESL Premiership League.
pod compensated with this loss with three new additions to their roster, namely
Dominik "zeN" Rieger,
Friedrich "FriedrichF" Franz and
Mateusz "hardGamer" Pietrzak.
While zeN is rather unknown, the other two additions, FredrichF and hardGamer, are recognized names in their respective country's Warcraft scene.
FriedrichF is a competitor in Germany's most prestigious 1on1 league, the ESL Pro Series, where he currently places 15th. hardGamer has similar achievements, he is participating in the French ESL Pro Series and amongst others placed third behind other big French names such as Yoan
"ToD" Merlo. hardGamer also competed in the ESL Extreme Masters where he surprisingly defeated the German hotshot
Daniel "miou" Holthuis and the Danish talent
Thomas "ThomasG" Glisnki.
The current roster looks as follows:
pod virtual gaming
chrisinho (Orga)
nOmilk (Orga)
WizarD (Orga)
kOaLa (Orga)
DarkWizard
StarToM
Eric
AtoM
Tresh
hardGamer
FriedrichF
zeN
This is what pod's new addition,
FriedrichF, had to say about him joining the organization:
"I am happy to have found a new strong team in pod. I have had the chance to get to know some people personally already and I like them. The team plays a strong game, too and so I look into a bright future, in which we surely will surprise some people."
Also
zeN said a few words about his new home:
"When the ladder was resetted in early March I was motivated to play Wc3 again. Though, due to unlucky circumstances, my old team DkH.wc3 disbanded. So I was searching a clan which would give me the chance to prove myself professionally in leagues such as Bundesliga Premierleague, NGL, TGL, etc. I hit on pod through Eric who played for DkH.wc3 before, too, and Jaysus who I almost know for three years already, now. Be it in Warcraft or in WoW. I hope to be able to celebrate many prosperities with you guys."
hardGamer had something to say as well:
"I am really happy to join Pod and I am looking forward my first matches with my new mates as I am sure we will do great things together. I hope that we will be successful enough to get into NGL One. Concerning EFC, it was my home for 18 months but it’s time for me to go ahead and improve even more. pod gives me the opportunity to play in world class leagues and to show my full strength."
