Once again two of our players from South Korea MYM]Moon and MYM]Lucifer will attend to the InCup finals. Last time MYM]Moon finished second when he was defeated by WE.IGE.Check. But this time they are aiming for the win - the 500€ first prize.

Along with our very own players there are also 14 other players taking part in the finals. With some very well known players like SK.Deadman participating, there are also some less known players like n!Inso and Skoth, who made it to the finals. Lets take a look at the player-list*.

* neph.Daller and ACT-Giacomo have been banned from the tournament due to Account-Sharing, so they are not allowed to attend to the finals.

As you can see the lineup of the tournament is quite mixed with players from all over the world; at the last finals mostly players from Korea participated. Beside that we have six Nightelf, six Undead, two Orc and two Human players. It seems the Undeads and the Sentinels are going to dominate the player-field.

With only two Orcs and two Human players attending and the fixed mappool without Lost Temple we will barely see one of those races we saw in the previous finals. However, we hope for an exciting Cup with a lot of surprises.

The favourites of the tournament should be our very own players MYM]Moon and MYM]Lucifer, as well as SK.Deadman, WE.IGE.Focus and Fnatic-Winner. Besides Winner, we shouldn't underestimate the likes of Sunshine, Sase, Creolophus and Satiini who should also be able to get far in the competition. The other players belong to the so called 'Underdogs'.

As I have already mentioned, the InCup mappool got fixed for the finals, so it looks like this now:

Lost Temple (RoC) and Gnoll Wood (TFT) are out of the Mappool, which may favour the Undead players at the tournament because most of them dislike playing on these maps.

Statements:

Noname I am very anxious to see how our players will perform this weekend as they also have to compete in the WC3L. I am pretty sure Lucifer and Moon will be aiming for victory and they do indeed have the ability to do it. I think the competition is very healthy and the prize even better!

Nordahl This Incup final are exciting in the way that some of the players normally attending it are missing, which should improve the chances of Moon and Lucifer, allthough they will have a tight schedule with both Incup and WC3L on the same day aswell as Moon's unfortunate chinesse Internet also playing a role.

Satiini The incup winter finals looks like very good in my eyes, many known players are attending it like moon, lucifer, sase, apm, creo, boo and sunshine, this time it seems like there are also few unknown players for me like neph.dall, procacitas and sujin, I expect it to be exciting to see who wins it, I'm sure some people are already sure that moon, lucifer and apm will take the top spots but it will still be a good fight for sure! And from myself I expect nothing else than that I do my very best, and we'll see how that ends up like at the weekend!

3wD.Shocker I would say i'm more than optimistic about my performance this sunday, i feel in GREAT shape and i'll do my best for sure. I can't say who's the favourite, but Moon and Lucifer will definitely put a good fight in order to take this title in Korea. I wish best of luck and to all the participants, looking for nice games.

Update

The Grid was published and the first opponents for our two attendents are Fnatic-Winner and coex.Winners. I am pretty sure both are going to win the first round, because both are in a good shape and especially Lucifer never lost to Winner in the InCup yet.

Update 2

The tournament started and Fnatic-Winner + Fnatic-Creo were not able to attend, so they got replaced by 3wd.Qazzy and C5ipo7i. Beside that we have to mention that SK.Deadman defeated WE.IGE.Focus in the first top match of the Cup with 2-1.

Update 3

Because of the WC3L match of MYM the tournament is going on quite slow, but now most of the matches are finished and the InCup goes on. On a sidenote i have to mention that SK.Deadman went sleeping, so he forfeited his match versus 3wd.Shocker.

Update 4

MYM]Lucifer is in the final of the InCup Winter Finals! He defeated Sase in the Winnerbracket final and is now standing in the Overall Final. His opponent will be 3wd.Shocker, Satiini, mouz.Sase or his teammate MYM]Moon. So just like i predicted there is no Human or Orc Player left in the tournament and the Sentinels and the Scourge are fighting for the win. Anyways we are hoping for an exciting final, hopefully with two MYM Players!

Update 5

Lucifer made it! The final won over three maps (Echo Isles, Treasure Island and Twisted Meadows) with Lucifer winning the first and the last. Especially the second map was very exciting and had some unusual tactics in it.
