BNET Once more Blizzard Entertainment has reset the Battle.net Ladders of Warcraft 3. It's time again for all players to climb up the ladder for one of the top ranks, if they wish to be invited to the offline finals and earn some serious money. Blizzard Entertainment has opened 30 additional spots in the invitational ladder to give everyone the opportunity to compete with the best players in the world and fight for the prizes.

As of yet Blizzard has not released more information regarding the matter, but one thing is for sure, the fifth ladder season has started! Good luck to all of the players who want a piece of the action on the Battle.Net Ladders!

Not sure i understand, i had an account in the season 4 ladder, would that mean im "auto-qualified" for the new ladder? Or do i have to make a top 30 account? I guess I'll make a top 30 account either way, but good to know i think ; )

#5 no dude the post just ment that there will be +30 spots than season 4, that means that this season the first 130 accounts get accepted ;). Doesn't matter how u were ranked last year ;) w/e

Warcraft III Season 5 is now live! We have opened up 30 spots in the invitational ladder to give everyone another opportunity to compete with the best players in the world. After about a month of qualifying time, we will invite the top 30 players from each regional ladder to fill out the open spots in the invitational ladder. We have also reset the Battle.net Warcraft III ladder to even the playing field for those participating and will reset the invitational ladder once the 30 new players are added. We will be posting more information about Season 5 shortly. Is this all!!! g)O_o(d

Dont think they are going to add 30 more slots for the S5 ladder. Probably going to use the same playerlist as S4 did, but dropping inactive/lowranked players off and giving chance for new players to enter S5. Must admit that battle.net's official post is quite confusing right now, hopefully they will soon release an more informative post about how it will work. Last edited by Konna at 07.03.2007, 13:30
