While the whole scene is wondering if Source, CS 1.6 or even CSPromod will dominate the Counter-Strike scene this year, other teams are discretly making changes to their lineup. One of the teams I'm talking about is situated in Sweden, and it's none other than
Global Gaming, which have decided today to close..
"The main reasons behind the end of our team are xAjo's lack of motivation and the team's lack of time to practice, Rebel has football practices four times a week and FleddE is usually working until late [...] Even if none of the teams made any good results, I had a lot of fun during the time and made some money on the LAN events we attended. It is too bad we had these bad practice possibilities because that is what "killed" the team. After all, I think I have (on a personal level) developed a lot as a player during my time in Global Gaming"
Five months ago, we could see that three of the Aftermath players decided to join up with Global Gaming;
KF3, now playing in NiP,
enoksen and
raven. Some time after, the norwagian players decided to part from the team, joining up with Team Fainted.
Global Gaming was only consisting of swedish players, who also managed to defend their 2nd place at the nordic online tournament; Powerdeff, where top teams such as a-Losers, SoA or Praetoriani are attending.
Unfortunately, some of the players were lacking motivation, and others were simply lacking time, due to their "real life" activities.
Former Global Gaming lineup :
Joel "deffe" Hedin
Firat "Firat" Madon
Fredrik "FleddE" Noppa
Simon "Rebel" Sandin
