CPL Announce DotA Prizes

Last month we saw the CPL announce a unofficial BYOC tournament for Warcraft III: Defense of the Ancients (DotA). The BYOC is being held in Dallas,Texas for the CPL Winter Championships from Dec.16th-21st. Today CPL and Steelseries have come upon an agreement and SteelSeries is now the Title sponsor for the DOTA tournament, and the tournament is now being called "The SteelSeries DotA BYOC Tournament." Below you can find the prizes for the DOTA BYOC tournament sponsored by SteelSeries.

  • First Place: $1,000 USD + 5 1-year licenses to SteelSecurity + 5 SteelSeries SteelKeys 6G + 5 SteelSeries SteelSound 5H v2 + 5 SteelSeries SteelPad QcK heavy + 5 Krait Gaming Mice courtesy of Razer
  • Second Place: $750 USD + 5 1-year licenses to SteelSecurity + 5 SteelSeries SteelSound 5H v2 + 5 SteelSeries SteelPad QcK heavy + 5 Krait Gaming Mice courtesy of Razer
  • Third Place: $500 USD + 5 1-year licenses to SteelSecurity + 5 SteelSeries SteelPad QcK heavy + 5 5 Krait Gaming Mice courtesy of Razer
  • Fourth Place: 5 1-year licenses to SteelSecurity + 5 SteelPad QcK+
  • Fifth Place: 5 1-year licenses to SteelSecurity + 5 SteelPad QcK
  • Sixth Place: 5 1-year licenses to SteelSecurity + 5 SteelPad QcK mini
  • All contenders of the SteelSeries DotA BYOC Tournament will receive a three month license of SteelSecurity, SteelSeries' online protection suite including antivirus, firewall, spam filter, and online backup software.

    • Total prize value: $7,215

#6 Yea, not everyone can participate on lan. Now online is much easier, even if you have to sign-up. Also GGc is quite nice so..
