With a long break leaving a lot of people wondering if Blizzard has once again forgotten about Starcraft. They have added 6 more players to the roster that will be put on wall and given a ranking in minerals.

Trying to even up the playing field a bit Blizzard has decided to bring in two more of each race. Zerg still has tha majority but neither Protoss or Terran can ever be counted out. Along with the 6 new players, the FAQ/Rule section has been added. Here's a little snippet of one of the most interesting Questions:

How are the lineups determined? This is one of the most interesting parts of the tournament. First, each captain will submit three players. Two will be labeled as "Open" while the third will be "Closed." These results will be disclosed shortly after each team has submitted them. Each team will then be able to choose two additional players to face the "open" players on the opposing team as seen below. These chosen players are called the "Reaction" players.

So this all leading to one thing, Blizzard is getting ready to start the Sandlot but there are still many things to come along with a few surprises.
