The Return of Vankor?

The Greek undead talent 
George 'Vankor' Sefertzis has recently parted ways with the Warcraft III squad of 
Team fnatic (we reported) . Due to his re-arranging of his real life and other issues he could not play War3 on a professional level anymore and therefore left the team. He was a former member of 
mousesports, he then moved on to join the strong team of fnatic. His depature was rather surprising for Vankor since he always had great performances when competing.
However, when you surf around on the page of the Gamingeye WarCraft League (short: GWL) and look through the teams in Division A you will see a team named Southpark Warcraft 3, a Greek Warcraft III team. There, in the roster (click: here) you will find a player named vanx who, of course, is Vankor. He just had an appearance against 
Team JuSt Players and lost his bo3 2-1 against JuSt.Shocker.
This seems to be at least a little return of the Greek undead player Vankor as he still competes in the GWL.
Just like 
DIDI8 joined the Bulgarian team JP and 
Rholle joined the Danish team of FatCap.wc3, it seems to be a trend nowadays to show represent your flag and fight for your own country. So it seems, that Vankor also joined a "national" team, namely sPwc3.
Though nothing official has been released yet, we await a statement by either sPwc3 or Vankor soon.
If this is to be correct, we wish Vankor all the best of luck for his return and many, many wins.

hehe, he joined South Park shortly after leaving fnatic (noticed on the ESL profile). No surprise that he helps out his Greek mates, and South Park seems like the most ambitious Greek team, so it is the right place for him to be. I see no reason to make a news about him coming back, though. When he does something like this, he shows his obvious intentions of not returning to the top but dropping down a notch and trying to help a local team instead.
I hadn't noticed that NapS had joined Praetarians, though. Should help them recover. Even though I want es4x to retain a good line-up, it's nice to see him get a chance to play in more leagues. Last edited by Asjo at 10.08.2006, 23:42
