Blizzard's season tournaments are something everyone looks forward to. This time around, the wonderful guys at Blizzard, have stepped it up by a few notches by bringing in a new competitive ladder for the realms of Kalimdor, Northrend and Azeroth. These competitive ladders are aimed at providing the top 100-150 players in the world a place to play others at their level. This ladder is introduced to help Blizzard in choosing an Invite list for future tournaments as well as choosing the players for the ladder itself.

Each player chosen for the ladder will have his own web interface displaying rankings and their own map pools. The ladders will have around 100-150 players with no AMM restriction matching any player against another. And a constant review will be done wherein low level or inactive players will be removed to allow for the top players of the regular ladder.

Grand Finale

After the completion of the Ladder Season, which would last roughly for two months, top players eligible for the next stage will be chosen according to the following conditions.
100 players will be chosen from each of the 3 realms and an offline regional qualifiers will  be held to determine the players who would go to the Global Offline Finals. The number of players from each of the realms will be 16 from the Americas and 20 each from Asia and Europe. A special location set up primarily for ending Season 4 will soon be revealed at their site.
