Just as Season 10 of the Warcraft Champions League begins and with their recent victory over VerGe Gaming. Team Fnatic announced that two of their players would be leaving their team for a couple of reasons.
The first player is an illustrious NightElf player who has proved to be one of the best in Europe and is a long stalwart of the game. Dimitar Georgiev "
didi8" Aleksandrov, will be leaving fnatic, but is not quitting the game. Infact, he wishes to develop the gaming scene in his home country Bulgaria and will therefore join up and play actively on the roster of JP (Just Players). This is part of what he had to say in his quote.
I am going to join the team that I have created 1 year ago, the first Bulgarian professional team, Just Players ( JP ). Untill now, I was just managing JP and playing for fnatic mainly, mainly because of the money but well as not everything is about money, I will be joining up with JP and will try to make my dream real - to make a really strong Bulgarian team with the best Bulgarian players that will be able to join the WC3L. From now on you're going to see me mainly working in the Bulgarian scene and playing with my team in different leagues and tournaments |
The Second player is not a new name to the scene either.
George "Vankor" Sefertzis, one of the best Undead players at his prime, will be going inactive as real life has caught up with him and thus his time is spent largely away from the game. He will not change teams or play Warcraft professionally in the near future. We managed to catch him in an exclusive interview wherein he talks about his plans for the future.
Why are you calling it a day now? well ,i have been playing warcraft for three years or so....its a really nice game and i had the chance to meet many friends and have a nice time but Are you going to quit gaming? Or shift to another game? no i wont shift to another game... and i dont have too much time to play either way. and i prefer going out with my friends my girl going summer holidays etc and in the winter , i will have my university to deal with so with just a few games per week ofc i wont be in a shape to play in a wc3l team i wont stop playing warcraft though... but i will play it for fun as i was doing since the end of the previous wc3l season 2-3 ladder games 4 fun with some random friend's account ^_^. I have real life to attend to and will not be playing professionally hereafter. |
We managed to catch up with one of fnatic's team members
Kevin "Rotterdam" Kooi on his reactions to Vankor and Didi8 leaving and this is what he had to tell us
Well the departure of Didi8 is a heavy blow for us , he was one of our key players and one of the best night elfs around so it will be really hard to fill the gap. Vankor was already going to inactivity for a long time and since we got aNTy now it should not be a major loss, though i wish him gl in the future with whatever he does. We will try to add a new player in the near future but like i previously mentioned adding someone with the ability of Didi8 is nearly impossible, so we will have to look very well and see who is the right person for us. |
We, at MYM, wish both the Players the best of luck in the future and hope to see didi8's team rise up as a powerhouse.

Think it's a nice move by DIDI, as he says everting isn't about money. GL to him.
I expected Vankor to be half inactive in SpWc3, but I clearly was wrong :) | |
I like DIDI's ways of thinking, and I hope for him that his dream comes through.

Genie! : ] Exactly what I thought, I thought he'd join the team with UC- and other greece players but I guess real life comes into picture. I think JP will be a pretty strong team now, in even international leagues. GL ! Now just Insomnia! and the 2's team from G2H : ]

#14 G2H's 2's team will not join JP :), in Bulgaria there are a lot of talents enough at least for 2 good teams, so G2H will keep fighting and be bigget opponent on JP for the Bulgarian title and i hope that way will improve 2 teams and whole community, cause if there is only 1 dream team, the other teams risky to lost their motivation. Go go Bulgaria FIGHTNG ! :-)

In Warcraft 3, there are few times when seasoned pros suddenly lose their touch or fade out of the limelight without permanent retirement. And while we had our share of goodbyes in 2008, it has been t...
