Ten years have passed since the first QuakeCon took place, over the years a lot has changed. The face of the game, every quake title has been played during a QuakeCon. This year will be no different with both a Quake 4 and Quake 3 tournament being run.

Much like the few years past, there will be audio and video avialable for the fans of the games to tune in and listen or watch. Inside The Game will be covering live from Texas, TosspoT and djWHEAT will be covering Quake/ET so you can expect the best. Over at the iTG website they posted a news stating:

"Live from the Intel booth iTG will be covering both Quake and Enemy Teritory tournaments with a more robust video broadcasting delivery system. This new video delivery system has been branded as "World Class" by Quake legend Amir "hakeem" Haleem."

So on August 4th make sure you've got your old Quake poster up, your speakers set near max and a beercap. Almost non-stop coverage from one of the best Lans in the world will take place, and you can almost pretend you're there.
