Our Danish star player
Henrik "Wralth" Hansen has been chosen to attend the very first round of WC3R's King of the Hill. His opponent will be the fellow countryman
Juri "Rosenkill" Rosenkilde, and they will face each other in Best of five series.
This Saturday the Danish warcraft 3 site, WC3Replays.dk, will be hosting their first King of the Hill round, and picked out among the top gamers in DK is our very own
T.MH]Wralth.
I caught hold of
FlaskeWanker who is WC3R KOTH head admin and asked him a few questions about their new King of the Hill project.
| NoHopeAtALL: Hi there Flaske. Before we start could you quick introduce yourself? Flaske: Hi my name is Kasper Nørgaard. I am 18 years old and am Admin at WC3Replays.dk and former manager for Boom town Copenhagen (BTc) NoHopeAtALL: right, now let's get down to business. I've noticed that you have launched a new King of the Hill project at WC3R. Could you please tell us more about it? Flaske: The KOTH project started by request from our users, who apparently missed some exiting games featuring hand picked players. And who afterward, inspired by WC3L and GosuGamers, asked us to launch a King of the Hill tournament. NoHopeAtALL: Well it is good to see that your KOTH project is up and running. Is the tournament for Danes only? Or will you try and get some international players to participate as well? Flaske: The project is called KOTH.dk and will therefore only involve players from the Danish warcraft 3 scene. We have no plans of extending the project and try and get hold of international players. Neither do I think it would be easy since KOTH is already held to other places. NoHopeAtALL: yes I agree on that and further more I believe that the attendance of the big boys require a fair amount of money. Is there any prize money involved in your tournament? Flaske: Well, WC3Replays.dk is an addfree site which means that we have no money available. And that is also a reason not to try and get big names outside the Danish border to participate. I will nevertheless try and dig out something for the final 4 players, who will decide who is to be crowned king of kings. NoHopeAtALL: Beautiful work to keep an active Warcraft 3 site like that. You speak of 4 finalist is it possible that they will face each other offline? Or is the entire tournament held online? Flaske: Thanks. Well at the moment it looks like it will be held online, but if the users show a huge interest to support the project I might try and work something out. NoHopeAtALL: Let us hope the users will support the project. Now what are your own expectation to the upcoming game and the whole King of the Hill project? Flaske: I expect Wralth to win but if Rosinkill is in a great shape he might be able to fight back. Of cause there will be some level difference but that is inevitable when only Danes are invited, but I hope to see 3-5 nice games. I'm looking forward to see some nice games and I hope that the people will support the project and get some cosy evenings among the best players that Denmark has to offer. If the users like it then I have done my job. NoHopeAtALL: A honourable goal. Well Flaske thank you for your time I wish you, and the WC3R site, the best of luck in the future. Any last shout outs? Flaske: No problem. I would like to thank Team MYM-Raptor.Gaming for supporting us with one of your players and enlighten our Project to the international gaming scene. |

The game format is Best-of-5 and a King can sit on the throne for no more than 3 times. There will be held x-rounds of the KOTH and eventually will the top 4 Kings be hand picked to play KOTK - King of the Kings.
And now let's have a closer look on the two participating players:
Name: Henrik Hansen
Age: 17 years
ID: Wralth
Race:
Country: Denmark
City: Copenhagen
Team: Team MYM.Raptor-Gaming ![]()
Wralth is definitely one of the best players Denmark has to offer at the moment. He recently proved that by reaching the Final at WCG DK where he almost defeated fnatic.Bjarke. Besides his WCG DK result Wralth finished 2nd at the Danish ESWC 2005 qualifier and 3rd at the Danish Acon5 qualifier.
Name: Juri Rosenkilde
Age: 18 years
ID: Rosenkill
Race:
Country: Denmark
City: Vallensbæk
Clan: Team InCorrect ![]()
Rosenkill is, no doubt, a talented young player who is about to reach to top on the Danish Warcraft 3 scene. He is a member of clan InCo who are doing very good in the Danish WC3 League where they are sharing the #1 spot with team e9gma-gaming. Even though Wralth is the favourite for the win Rosenkill should be able to put up a strong fight.
Before the start of the games I got hold of both players and here is what they had to say:
T.MH]Wralth:
| I'm really looking forward to this match since I practiced a lot, and was just waiting for a good match. Rosenkill ,I heard, is really good using fiends against NE so I think it will be a very exiting match. |
| I Hope to see a good and exiting match. I’m happy to participate in WC3R’s KOTH since it gives me a chance to prove what I’m capable of and besides that get an opportunity to play against a real gosu (Wralfie). Even though I do not expect to win I hope to put up a strong fight and maybe make a surprise. |

Nice initiative, but Im afraid Bjarke, Ciara, Rholle and Wralth will end up dominating it. But in the light that there are 4 final spots, it shouldn't be all that bad, we can get to see some good games :)

Haha Jacob, "Boomtown Copenhagen (BTo)" :P. Great news, I'm really thankfull to be supported.
Nordahl: Yes, thats why the KOTK tournament was made, now we can have some good games (we still got Jacob, Revael, TehUT and so on) to challenge the 4 mentioned players. And at last (if Bjarke/Ciara actually want to participate in this) have a clash of the best players in Denmark atm. I'm looking forward to get this project started, and exited wheter it is going to be a succes or failure. | |

looking forward to the event, even though WraLth is a total favorite in this match i doubt Rosenkill will give him the games easily.. GL to both players and i hope for some nice games.

Bjarke has never been one to turn down a showmatch to help promote WC3 in Deamark, and if you bug him long enough Ciara will prolly say yes aswell ;)

It was a very nice day. Rosenkill managed to win the 2 first games, which made the first round of KOTH.dk really exiting. Overall it was some nice games, and I'm looking forward to the next rounds of KOTH, and hoping for just as big surprises as this was. Once again, thanks for the support, it's the community which makes this works.

#15 - Thats not what he insinuated, he just ment he played around with things he normally would not and that caused a loss here and there ;)
