A happy birthday to VoO and a great loss for the whole community. For those of you who still don't have an idea who the dutch juggernaut Sander "Fnatic.VoO" Kaasjager is here is a short list of his achievements. He won only(!) 5 of the CPL 2005 World Tour stops for Painkiller. Aside from those 5 wins, he also took some great second places as well as a final second place in the grand finals, after a thrilling final versus Fatal1ty. From all the tournaments he attended he has accumulated an impressive sum of $232,000. If that wasn't enough he was also selected as the tournament MVP, a title which fetched him another $20,000 from Intel.
Here is what his teammate Alexander "Ztrider" Ingarv had to say about VoO:
“[A]s a person he's always someone you can have fun with, he gives one great support when you play and always cheers on you when you play which is a great quality that he has"
With many great victories like ESWC 2004, CPL Winter 2004, more than half of the CPL World Tour stops and of course his 2nd place at the grand finals VoO retires from gaming. We wish him good luck with the future battles, whatever they are.
