The Electronic Sports League will start a new european league in the next months, the ESL Masters. According to readmore.de, the prize money of this league will be 150000 Euro, which is 10 times as much as in the old CSCL. The number of participants will be 24 in each of the three disciplines. It is planned that you can qualify through the national Pro Series', although there are only six of them at the moment. The highlights of this league will be the international Intel Friday Night Games: five of them should be organized in different european cities. The ESL awaits up to 7500 spectators to this events. As you may have guessed, there will also be a big LAN final somewhere in Europe. GIGA will broadcast the iFNGs and the final.
The league should start in the third quarter of this year. Let's hope it will be well organized and not only a fast reaction to the NGL One.
