Mel with
MishL, the female Counter Strike team Burntpink had to change their nationality to American, for the upcoming ESWC 2006 in Paris, France.
Jess, regarding these changes to the team. Below you can find a snippet of the interview:| FG: How do you feel tho, being one of the few teams that haven't competed together on lan before? Jess:"that thought does cross my mind..we connect really well online and i know we can create the chemistry needed for lan at bootcamp. i hope our first lan experience will be one that everyone remembers." FG: No doubt it will be. Do you all invidually have lan experience? Local teams, etc etc Jess:"haha my parents dont believe in cs so they never thought about letting me go to this place where all these gamers played. but besides my unusual case yes they do. belle has been to many cyberjocks and lgs in texas placing 4th before. mishL went to CPL spain and ESWC 04 with gx3 and placed 5th at those events. lidy has attended many local seattle lans placing respected 1st's and 2nd's. and mz has attended TFL's (toronto lan) with burntpink, when we were mostly based in toronto, canada :)" |
