NGL one fills last two spots
When NGL one was announced, two spots in the Warcraft 3 tournament were not yet filled. Now it is clear that the first spot will go to 
SK Gaming. The last participant will be determined in a qualification tournament, starting on Sunday, May 7th, 12:00 CET. The tournament will be in the double-elemination mode, here are the matches of the first round:
 LanFan | vs. | Preatorians |
 SK Germany | vs. | 3wD |
 United 5 | vs. | es4x |
| starComa | vs. | Serious Gaming |
Another interesting fact around this qualification is the mode, the matches will be played: it is the "King of the Hill" mode, which is very popular in Asia: each team seeds one player at the beginning, the loser of this match is eliminated, while the winner will face the next player of the opposite team. This goes on until five players of one team are eliminated. Each match will be played in Best-Of-One.
It seems like this will be the playing mode in the whole NGL one.

I don't think AoD is close to the level of any of the other teams, bad choice. These qualies should be very fun though!

Well AoD was chosen, cause they won the german Bundesliga Premier League. I think that the League was mainly created to be broadcasted by Gamesports. Since gamesports targets the german listeners it is quite logical to choose one more german team to keep the fans happy. That's also the reason why they didn't invite any american team, cause clanwars usa vs korea are usually played at 3 to 7 am cet and that is not very interessting to broadcast.

Even though your right I think it's nice to have a different format then the WC3L because if it's the same, it'll be just a weaker version of the WC3L... hoping for 3wD, es4x, and Serious Gaming advancing! ♥All You Need is Love♥Love is All You Need♥
