The reason why Korea is not there is because they do not have a national team. All of the professionals don't have time for leagues like this, and the other Koreans aren't at all in the community as the rest of the nations in the world are.

There were once a team called Korea B, with players from Korea, but not the very best such as BoxeR, JulyZerg and Reach, but still good players in Korea. I guess that there aren't enough organisation and unity in the Korean scene to make a national team. Which is sad, since they would have been some of the very favourites, of course.

And if you wonder where China is - they declined to participate.

Korea being involved would make this no fun at all to be honest...not a single country could possibly compete against the players from korea. They have too much national pride put into this sport afterall.

Hmm, not sure if I agree with you, Alpine. Well, if SKT1 would show up as Korea's national team it might not be so fun, but maybe some amateurs in Korea, that'd be fun.

But then it wouldn't be a real national team, if not the best are there.
