SKT1 winner of SKY 2005 R2 Final

In the end Korea, South SKTelecom T1 won the final over Korea, South Samsung KHAN with the score 4-3, and got the 1st prize $50,000. SKT T1 won both two rounds and owned the 2005 season. Now, no-one doubts that SKT T1 is the strongest team, at least for now.

Samsung won the first and second game and was in the lead with the score 2-0, but SKT T1 made a reversal point with Terran Midas and won 2 more games. Zerg/Protoss ZergLee / Ever)P(TT could make a tie score but at in the last match Terran Iloveoov defeated Zerg Jju, captain of Samsung, and made the a score 4-3. He was also voted MVP for SKY 2005 Round 2.

Hoon Joo, team manager of SKT T1 said this in the interview with Fighterforum"Thanks to SK Telecom, my players, players of Samsung and specially all fans who loved us. We prepared this match so hard, so we could gain a victory to powerful team like Samsung KHAN." Also he said, "In fact I worried that how we can win 2v2 matches against amazing 2v2 player Zerg ZergLee, and as my thought he and his mate owned 2 games. But we also have many cool players who could win other games enough so we could won the Round 2 final."

SKT T1 team captain Terran BoxeR said jokingly : "Don't expect my challenge to 2v2 game will stop. I can tide over this situation and be one of greatest 2v2 player."  He won only a 2v2 game during the Round 2 and made the 4th lose today, so his fans were insisting that he would be out of the 2v2 matches.

Here are the results of the game:
