CSCL Playday: 7

Yesterday the 7th Playday of the CSCL - CounterStrike Champions, which is hosted by the ESL, was played. They kicked off with 3 Top Machtes with teams like the Germans from Germany mTw.ATI, the Swedes from Sweden fnatic and also the Russians from Sweden Begrip, who played their matches today. The map of the 7th Playday is de_nuke.

Here are the Matchups:

Four Kings vs. mTw.ATI

  • 4Kings: mangiacapra, natu, aKuJii, GoodFella, DaY
  • mTw: uLTi, roman, hades, night, Hanso
  • Start: 21:00 CET

Result: [5-16]

mTw.ATI showed again that they are able to beat the best teams in whole Europe.

Begrip-Gaming vs. fnatic

  • Begrip: Xenitron, diNGo, xek, redman, blade
  • fnatic: dsn, cArn, archi, Tentpole, f0rest
  • Start: 21:00 CET

Result: [5-25]

A very strong playing style was shown to us yesterday by the newly presented team of Sweden fnatic. A very well played game by the boys of team fnatic.

Team Pentagram vs. Hostile Records

  • Pentagram: LUq, Neo, TaZ, lrd, motyw
  • Hostile: Rara, Olicharan, curiel, Genocide, R!Go
  • Start: 21:00 CET

Result: [30-0]

This wasn't really an exciting game since the Polish Team Pentagram earned themselfs the default win.

Team-X vs. Astralis

  • Team-X: HUNTi, ph0s, nookie, bishop & reppi
  • astralis: ruuit, bloodR, diGitaL, tihOp & GuA
  • Start: 21:00 CET

Result: [16:14]

The German team which was formed a couple of days ago and who also left their prior organisation Ocrana.ATI, just showed us that a mix team bonus is all the time given sometimes in a good way sometimes in a bad way. This time it was surely a good way as they managed to beat the finish powerhouse Astralis. A very good and exciting game we are all looking forward to see how they perform in the upcoming matches.

The Ranking after this Playday from Group A looks like this:
