I miss mYm.Bjarke. He's still my favorite player, along with Kaj, from the gool 'ol days.
He's one of the few players that I really look forward to watching even though he's not considered in the same league as FoV, Lucifer, Zacard, Grubby, ToD, Moon, etc. I think for pure innovation and creativity, he's right there with Inso for the cause of The Alliance. I've already seen him popularize the FL towerrush against Orcs, the straight tech to tier 3 against NE (and Orc occasionally) for tri-hero, Knights, Mortars with Fragmentation Shards, Inner Fire, and jsut recently, going Bloodmage Mana Siphon-Banish against NE's Bears-Dryad strat (the WCG qualies against WraLth and UnderTaker). His Bloodmage games featured some of the sweetest, most graceful micro I've seen from a HU player in a long, long time. Absolutely insane. O_O It's too bad that entertainment value and imagination don't always equal wins (coz if it did, Bjarke would have trophies for ESWC and WCG by now). If anything, I think Bjarke's "weakness" is his macro. He's often caught expoing or teching at the wrong time and makes things harder for himself by having to to fight an uphill battle with a smaller army than his opponent (small HU army < all). I'm still holding out hope that his hard work and strategic brilliance will be rewarded with a major tournament win. Come back to mYm, Bjarke! -_-; | |
