If you want the opportunity to go to  Sweden and participate in the Nordic qualifiers for Acon5, this is how you get there.

First of all you need to apply for the open pre-qualifier in  Counter-strike and  Warcraft3, held at Nethouse2000.dk

These are the conditions, which you or your team have to pass and accept:

Please note that minimum age is 16. This is the age allowed for a
player attending the final in  China.

- To create a  Counter-Strike team, the Teamleader must Create a team and all of the members must join it (create a user and join the team in your Command Center). After at least 5 members which are 16 or older, are signed up with the team, the teamleader can sign up his team through the ACON5 Sign up form.

- For  Warcraft III, players sign up directly through the ACON5 Sign up form.

Deadline for Sign-ups is Wednesday, the 27 April 2005 - so make sure you have signed up before that date.

Anyone can signup but since the available spots for the Danish pre-qualifiers are limited some considerations will be taken into account. Team/player merits and country origin might come into play when getting a spot. The chosen CS teams and WC3 players for the Danish ACON5 Pre-Qualifier held at Nethouse2000 will be announced here next week, so stay tuned here on the MYM Community for further information.


The  Danish pre-qualifier for ACON5 will take place on Saturday 30/4-2005 starting 10:00 CET exactly at:

Here we will commence in two games,  Warcraft III TFT and  Counter-Strike 1.6 (both latest patch) The tournament for  Warcraft III TFT will be held in Group stages and for  Counter-Strike in double-elimination way. More specific rules on that will follow in the upcoming days.

To be able to handle the qualifiers in the best way possible, we have taken in a crew which is not associated with MYM in any way. For  Warcraft III TFT, we have  Mouliac as headadmin, you might know him as the one handling tournaments at Nethouse2000.dk on a regular basis.

For  Counter-strike, we have [ds]RedFernE who is known for his work at the  Danish Slap Lan.

In regard to Counter-strike servers, we have one of  Denmarks best hosting companies, CS-Hosting, which will provide us with their expertise on setting up LAN servers for optimal performance for both the players and the audience.

What we have for you, are two team slots in  Counter-Strike and two player slots in  Warcraft III TFT, to go - on your own hand - to the Scandinavien Finals at the Ownage Gaming Cafe Center in Stockholm,  Sweden, where the the Nordic Finals are taking place the 14th May, 2005.

The winners of the Scandinavien finals wil go to Xian,  China to participate in the Global ACON5 Finals, were you can win amazing prices like:
