The ESL website offers a lot of competitions to all the teams all over the world, with one of these competitions being the European Nations Championship, which regroups all the best nations in Europe to play the same game: Warcraft III. The first round is now over, and the groups for the second round are revealed.

Here is a reminder of the first round:

Group A Germany 11 Denmark 8 Switzerland 7 Austria 4	Group B France 10 Slovakia 9 Greece 8 Serbia & Montenegro 3
Group C Netherlands 13 Romania 7 Poland 6 Belgium 4	Group D Sweden 15 Czech Republic 8 Norway 6 United Kingdom 1
Group E Bulgaria 12 Russia 10 Ukraine 8 Italia 0

All the favorite teams didn't have any problems in winning their groups. However, we can notice some surprises, like Norway finishing third of Group D - same with Greece in Group B.

And the groups for the Second Round are:

Group A Romania   Sweden   Bulgaria   Denmark   France

Group B Czech Republic   Russia   Netherlands   Germany   Slovakia

As you can notice, the Group A will be a though one, including last season's finalists ( France and  Sweden), which is making it hard to predict who the favorite is, since all the teams are very strong and able to win against each other. Maybe the Danish and  Romanian National teams might have some troubles in their groups, but they must not be underestimated, and perhaps they can show us some nice surprises.

The level of the Group B seems to be a bit lower with three clear favorites, Netherlands, Germany and Russia, and two outsiders: Czech Republic and  Slovakia. The battle will be long and hard, and we wish good luck to all the teams, hoping to see them fighting each other for the victory
