DotA Team Earnings Ranking

Recently prodota.ru has calculated the earnings of top DotA teams from tournaments prize money in year 2008 so far. Sweden SK Gaming topped the table with their constant performance throughout the year. Singapore Zenith climbed to the 2nd place after winning the title of ESWC 2008 Champion followed by Internationa- MYM in the 3rd place. Disbanded teams like Russian Fede- Virtus.Pro and Ukraine Wolker Gaming are also included in the table. Now lets take a look at the Ranking.

I don't think they earn much :D SK.DotA earned ~$13K. this money is split into a minimum of five players+mamangers etc ... I really doubt they earn much ^^

Well, you know that 13k is only prize money? Don't quote me on this, but I'm quite certain that professional DotA players get a base salary on top of their split of the prize money, I know this happens in Starcraft for sure.
