Battle.net S6 - Check wins!

battle.net, eliminated, ladder, moon, season

Battle.net Season 6 Asian regional finals started today. The finals is being held in Seoul, South Korea where the top 6 six players from the invitational ladder and last year's top 2 players play for qualification for the Global finals that will be held at BlizzCon in Anaheim, California.

Participants in the Asian finals:

  • Korea, South Nightelves MYM]Moon
  • Korea, South Nightelves SK.ReminD
  • Korea, South Nightelves mTw-Check
  • Korea, South Orc SK.Lyn
  • Korea, South Orc mTw-WinNers
  • Korea, South Undead MYM]Susiria
  • Korea, South Orc Fnatic.Focus
  • Korea, South Nightelves MYM]Soccer

Due to recent investigation done by Cassandra - WhO are the WinNers?, it was stated in a press release that WinNers will be among the 8 players to take part in the Regional finals.

Korea, South Nightelves Moon unfortunately meets his elimination on the first day of the Battle.net S6 Asian regional finals, losing to both SK duo's. Moon started by beating Korea, South Nightelves WinNers in the first round of the upperbracket with a 2-1 score then lost to Korea, South OrcSK.Lyn in the second round of the upperbracket with a 1-2 score and Korea, South Nightelves SK.ReMinD in the lowerbracket with a 0-2 score.

Meanwhile Korea, South Undead Susiria still has a fighting chance at getting into the top 3 in order to qualify for the Global finals. He lost in the first round of the upperbracket to SK.Lyn then defeated both nightelf players Korea, South Nightelves mTw-WinNerS and Korea, South Nightelves MYM]Soccer with a 2-0 score. Tomorrow Susiria will face ReMinD to decide which one of them will go the global finals. SK.Lyn and mTw-Check are already granted a spot at the global finals.

Well I kinda wasn't expecting him to lose but ReMinD always seem to have been better then him. But Susiria can do it :D. Defeating 2 nightelves in a row with 2-0 clear wins.

Susiria fighting.

That's kinda what I meant. Not better overall by better then him when they vs each other. Remind having a good mirror is what makes him better then Moon when they play against each other

Replays are usually released after the event or sometimes not at all, so do not put to much high hopes that you will get to see them.

Remind has already beaten Susiria 2 - 0.

I think with Check, Remind and Lyn as the 3 Koreans to qualify it comes down to which ones will get 1st / 2nd for BN finals.

There is no one in America or Europe you would expect to beat those players more than they lose.

I wish Susiria had managed to qualify.
