The Grand Final of the DotA-tournament at ESWC was played yesterday evening, and in a stunning fashion, Singaporean representative
zENith took the victory - going undefeated through the entire tournament.

From the start of the match, it was obvious that the biggest battle was going to be about map-control. As KingSurf started deploying Nerubian Weaver's watchers all over the map, zENith upped their ward-ratio, eventually investing in a gem on the Beastmaster.
KING's Luna was the main figure in the match, as he made a school example of how to farm it up to total domination. Within 30 minutes he had above 150 creepkills in total and at the 40 minute-mark he had his first Aegis; and well above 200 creeps.
In the end, KingSurf simply couldn't do anything against the combination of mass AOE disable and Luna's high DPS. Even though KS had survived for several minutes with top and mid raxxes down, they couldn't avoid the unavoidable and eventually surrendered to zENith. The victory secured zENith $13,000, while KingSurf grabbed $8,000 for their 2nd place.

YamateH wants to leave KS
The Malaysian team was reportedly not satisfied with their performance at the event though, and dota.sgamer.com is quoted saying that their star-player
YamateH will leave the team after ESWC. According to sgamer it is dissatisfaction with the team's tactics that has lead to his departure from KingSurf.
MYM takes Bronze and $5,000
For
MYM, who is yet to produce a top three placing in 6.53, the third place decider at ESWC was one of the most important games of the year. Pitted against
EG, MYM picked a very push-heavy lineup, getting Chen and Terrorblade in the same lineup. As a counter, the Cannucks based their lineup heavily on farming - thus trying to force the game into a marathon-match.
And while Remstar got his Skeleton King frightening good farmed, MYM's pusher-lineup gave them the victory. The damage-output massed by three Chen-creeps, three TB's and Jakiro's fire-parade, was simply too much for EG to cope with.

man, i really wanted MYM to win this, they seem like they really deserve to win lately with the way they have been playing and success they've made in the picking strategy of the game, i guess the game has become more strategy ba

I think yamateh is a better carry and ganker than ks leader, xiaogui.
Its just not suitable to ask yamateh farm like rush3D light! Cant imagine if yamateh works with vigoss | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
