Initially MYM.cs was denied the right to defend their ESWC title in San Jose after they weren't able to participate in the national qualifier and failed to qualify at ESWC Masters in Paris as well. But a threeway dialogue between ESWC, MYM and PGS will now see the Polish team get their invite for the Grand Finals.

That was the written a few weeks ago, and now the judges over at ESWC confirmed that Evil Geniuses will also be invited for the grand final in San Jose at the end of this month. After EG, who are known as one of the best North American Counter-Strike teams right now, prefered to attend KODE 5 in Russia and not the national qualifier and performed poorly in the group stage at the ESWC Masters, they received an invite - their last hope.

55 out of 374 players will be Americans at the ESWC and EG is next to MoB Gaming, X3O und Team 34 the forth team from that country. Worth mentioning is that Evil Geniuses is currently first placed in x3o's ranking of American Counter-Strike teams with a total 900 points lead over 50 Calibre, which should also justify the invite EG received.
