a new Team for SPEED-LINK

chozen, cod4, sl

After two weeks without a Call of Duty team, the german organization of SPEED-LINK announces their new squad.

It is only two weeks ago when team Germany SPEED-LINK released their old team due to a lack of success on the recent LAN events. With a loss against the rather unknown team of Greece sP-Gaming in the second groupstage at the Antwerp eSports Festival, the management and the players decided to part ways.

A team who is very well known in the german Call of Duty scene can call theirselfs the new CoD4 team of SPEED-LINK. The core of this team is playing together since the days of Call of Duty 2 and only changed their lineup when they recruited former Team CoolerMaster player Austria aistrEEEy and Germany gene from the old SPEED-LINK team.

The team we are talking about is known as Germany choZen-gaming. Being not an unwritten book in the german Call of Duty scene made them join the german organization Germany nGize. After some time, both sides parted ways and the team was playing under their label again. Now it was time to step it up, the manager of the new team says. The team is planning to make their very first LAN apperance at the EasyBash '08.

SPEED-LINK.CoD4 looks as follows:

Germany spow (Manager)
Germany Lynx (Captain)
Germany gene
Germany morpH
Germany z1nSTAR
Austria aistrEEEy
Germany dexterrr (Backup)

SL|spow: Since a few months we played under our own label choZen, looking for a serious partner for our future. We got many offerings, but only some of them were interesting. After the old Team SL shuts down we got in contact with Rene and came relatively fast to a conclusion. With SPEED-LINK we gained a strong partner who can help us for sure, to develop more and more. Of course we are under the pressure to fill the shoes of the old great SL CoD Teams, but I'm sure my team can handle this pressure and won't give up.

SL Management: Before we split up with our CoD 4 Team we already know, we still want to be a part of the Call of Duty scene. Team SPEED-LINK has been and still is a well known name in CoD all over the years. With our new Team we are looking forward to represent us, especially offline, better and stronger than before and hoping for a great common future.
