Team Pandemic picks up JOY

Team Pandemic enters the DotA fray once more, picking up the American team United States Jukes on You (JOY). The previous Team Pandemic disbanded in late 2006, and hopefully this new team will be as successful as the last. JOY has many recognisable names, as it was formed out of the members of XsK with a few other players that helped bring the lineup to its current state.

The team has qualified for the ESWC Grand Finals in San Jose later this year, after defeating another American powerhouse team, United States Evil Geniuses. As well as the ESWC Finals, the team will be attending Fire and Ice in August.

Look what the team captain mO- and manager desRow had to say about his teams new deal with Team Pandemic:

mO-: "I’ve always been a big fan of the Pandemic organization, as well as the old Pandemic DotA team. It’s a great privilege to finally be playing under a strong organization that will help us with LAN events and help us take the next step competitively. With Pandemic supporting us now, we can finally start playing more LAN tourneys and hopefully become the next North American powerhouse."

desRow: "We are very proud to join Pandemic. We were looking for a home to help us grow since June and Pandemic is the perfect place for us. At the moment, we do not play in any online leagues, but we are looking to join Pride #11 and ENADC. Our goal for 2008 is to participate in Fire and Ice finals in Chigago and become the next North American powerhouse. We were also looking for one more addition to have more online flexibility and we are glad to announce that Jason "Zhaoyun" Dong has joined our team. He left SCG due to timezone difference and he wanted to achieve as much as us we do, online and offline."

No, Fanat1c is still in PGS and as far as we are concerned he doesnt plan on leaving us.

Fanat1c is still in PGS. He is playing under the tag Pandemic only for the fire in ice and ESWC.
