One of our main concerns in the last few weeks has been to improve the usability of the myMYM.com-site. We wanted to ensure a faster and better navigation and surfing of the website.

Thus we have re-implemented two features we had on the old page, but didn't put much effort into porting to the new one, namely "Related News" and "Tags".

Related News

The related news will offer an easier way of finding what you might want to read, if you have just read a specific newspost. The system is based on what other users, who have recently read the news you are reading, also clicked on.

The period in which the system tracks the user-habits is limited to four weeks; two weeks before and after the current news is posted. And the tracking is of course limited to your the same game.

As you can see on the picture, you are also able to bookmark the article, making it easier to share stuff with your friends.

Tags

As for the tags, it is not finished yet, but coming in the next days. Tags will be a great help for the users who wants to find more news with the same keywords. Simply put, tags will organize the newsposts by their keywords and let you look everything up by it. So if you look at future dev-news and think: "hey, what was the last change", you will be able to look it up by the keyword "Dev" or something similar.
