Former VP teams up with KingSurf!

Early reports of Russian Fede- Virtus.Pro not being able to find the funds to go the ESWC Grand Finals, sent shockwaves through the community.

The Russian flagship has long been one of the most outstanding performers in the DotA-community, and the players were thus dissatisfied with not being able to go to San Jose in August. Consquently, the team parted with Virtus.Pro, leaving for an uncertain future.

As of today, the team has been picked up by the Malaysian organization KingSurf as their International squad. The announcement of the deal, has also seen Russian Fede- NS part with the former VP-side, while LightofHeaven has decided to stay with the team. To replace NS, ARS-ART has decided to rejoin his old team after a short spell at SK Gaming.

KS' manager Eryc had the following to say about the organization's new addition:

Kingsurf Gaming is an ambition team, our unique way of marketing and branding is the key to create a prospective future. The benefits of gamers and the fans will be always the first priority in our mind. We are grateful to have some strategy partners like Sgamer.com and a huge fans base to support us.

nice.......i am glad they have a new sponsor so they can travel to san jose....maybe they will go to more LAN-Tournaments like DreamHack or Fire in Ice now......would be pretty nice.... do i understand right that ns left the team cause of the deal with KS? or did he leave cause they have been without a sponsor for a couple of weeks? anyways withe return of smile they very strong......vigoss,jolie,smile,light,blow and puppey....what a damn strong team! gl for u guys

i guess the original ks squad found Razer as their sponsor, and Kingsurf focused on former VP which is now Ks^int ! just my assumption, but i'd wish to see yamateh and papaxiong team with Ks^int and see how'd the chemistry works :D

vp is no more from now on, they shall be known as ks.int so kingsurf got 2 branch of dota teams now namely the msia one and the russian one and its not that they have not enuf funds to go to eswc its that they're having troubles applying for visa due to the fact that they are from a muslim country, just like xcn

its not bcoz they have difficulty on applying for visa

its coz by hard time playing in international tournaments due to lags and delay

so they manage to get an international KS team to deal w/ international tourneys

and an asian team to dominate asian tournament
