It was nearly 2 month ago that
Elfittaja decided to leave
Hoorai.XQ in order to join
Gravitas Gaming, despite still being under contract which was set to expire until June of 2008. Due to the legally binding contract, if he refused to play for
Hoorai.XQ, he would not have been eligible for any other clan unless his contract runs out.
Elfittaja has then not been seen in any clan matches. Not making any appearance in the month of April and only playing at ENC for Finland’s national Warcraft 3 team.
Now that we are entering the month July of 2008,
Elfittaja contract with
Hoorai.XQ has expired. He can now start playing in clan matches for
Gravitas Gaming without having to worry about any legal bond preventing him from playing for the team.
He has shown strong performance during his time at
Hoorai.XQ, being the teams keyplayer.
Gravitas Gaming has recently qualified for the XIV season of WC3L and are ranked 1st in the NGL-One ranking giving
Elfittaja a lot to look forward to.
Gravitas Gaming former line-up:
Samuli 'elfittaja' Sihovonen
Robert 'Rob' Abdrakhmanov
Oleg 'TitaN' Kuptsov
Mykhaylo 'HoT' Novopashyn
Mihail 'XyLigan' Ryabkov
We picked up the team manager
suNNy to confirm this and to tell us a bit about their reason for adding
Eliffataja in the roster and how this plays a role in the line-up.
| Now that we are entering the month of July can Elfittaja start playing for Gravitas Gaming without having to worry about any legal binding with Hoorai? Yes that’s true his contract expired on 30.06.08 and now hes really happy to play after such a long time of training only without any clanwars. What was the reason for adding Elfittaja in the line-up? Out of all players, why him? Well ofcourse you all saw that we needed an Undead in our roster to fill the 2v2 hole and also the 1v1. Elfittaja is a young player, ofcourse he wasn’t the only one we thought about, but I think he was the right choice we made. He showed amazing results, he’s formable and can improve with such experienced players like we have. Also there weren’t really any undeads on his level we could pick and and ofcourse finance. Maybe just 1 or 2 undeads. So was adding Elfittaja a case of filling the roster to represent Gravitas Gaming in different event or rather strengthing the line-up? I can say in both ways. We needed a strong undead to strengthen the line-up also another player who can represent Gravitas Gaming in big tournaments, since in Finland there isn’t much rivalry for him. It’s almost sure he is under the top 2 in the qualifiers. Mostly, we picked him to strengthen the line-up and and stand in our position as the best european warcraft 3 team. Right now you have one of each race (Human, Orc, Nightelf and Undead) in your line-up. Do you think that having one of each race in your line-up plays a big role in your clan matches? That’s true. We can counter any clan in the best ways. I mean in the NGL format, we can beat any clan because we can counter each race on their worst maps. In the WC3L format, we have to think really detailed for the line-up to give each player their best matchup. Ofcourse it’s a positive point in our clanmatches. You said Elfittaja has been training all this time. So will we be seeing him in the main line-up anytime soon? Do you think he is ready for it? Ofcourse he is ready for it. He is one of the best Undeads in Europe and he is always ready for the main line-up, but we don’t pick our line-ups just like that. We always focus on what the best counter for each clan is and therefore we mix our line-up. And you guys can be sure to see him really soon in the line-up |

It's about time to be honest. Really looking forward to seeing him play again.
I would also like to apologize if the questions are bad. It was my first time doing an interview, I was nervous and I will do better next time. Last edited by genozstriker at 04.07.2008, 17:02

Well, its sort of sad that Mouz parted with Sase, or else we had 2 european lineups, that could battle to be the best team in europe... Now I dont think any European LU can be a hard match for GG anymore
