ESWC Masters seeds announced
The seedings for the ESWC Masters of Paris event have been released with 
EG and 
SK as the top seeds. Seedings were determined by other ESWC competitions as well as several major competitions. Seedings were determined to place teams into 2 groups with 5 teams each.
Each group will have 1 top seed, 1 high seed and 3 challengers. Only two teams will advance from each group into the playoffs. Groupstage is best of 1 so teams will only have one chance against each team in the groupstage. The drawing of teams for the group stage will take place on June 30th from 15:00 to 17:00 CET.
The draw can create some interesting matchups. Based on the seedings, 
MYM may very well end up in SK's group with other strong teams like 
SGC. The odds are looking good for EG and SK, for already knocking out MYM recently in Dreamhack Summer 2008. Stay tuned to myMYM.com for more ESWC Masters of Paris coverage!

Little rough on the seeds, but seeing that MYM isnt playing with their full team maybe they shouldnt be seeded as nr1. However i dont know if letting them out of the "topseed" is fair, also EG is a really strong team who deserve high seeding, but are they top?
just some thoughts, gonna be a nice tornament, im very sad that this tornament is gonna be followed from the computer at my home and not there. Good luck to everyone | |
