Sample This resamples

After some decent results lately (placing 3rd @ ACER Challenge, making it to the playoffs of the EuroCup) the mainly Benelux based team Netherlands Sample This has announced some heavy changes in their main line-up. First of all the team kicked Belgium Kevin "kEVINNN" Vandewoude due his inabilitiy to attend LAN events, his everchanging online times and last of all, him showing no faith in the team by applying to the TEK-9 team when they were searching for a new player.

Shortly after it became appearent that the team wanted to attract a different player for the position of scope, which led to the decision of Belgium Jente "niZ" Pauwels to leave the team as well. Both of these players then joined forces with the up and coming Belgium Bo0ness, which is now known as Insidiae.

Furthermore the team was forced to say goodbye to Netherlands Sander "fatal" Quaedvlieg, who was tired of acting as a backup and joined Netherlands DOK-Gaming as a main starter which left the team with only 3 players.

To ensure activity for summer LAN events and the future, the team decided to rebuild itself quickly by bringing in 3 former Netherlands Kaos Contingency players, Netherlands Kaj "Kajsk1ng” van Staalduinen, Netherlands Lars "lrs" van Everdink and Netherlands Niels "nielsson" Gosman. According to these players the athmosphere in the team was bad, which led to a drop in motivation. Then van Staalduinen got a ring from the Sample team, if he was intrested in joining forces with them, which also led to van Everdink and Gosman joining the team.

This leaves the Kaos.COD4 team folded, leaving several players once again without a team, but brings Sample This back to full strength. The team will be preparing for I34 and the EasyBash event, which they will attend if their rebuild goes according to plan.

Statement Lars "lrs" van Everdink: "What can I say, I guess it comes as a surprise to alot of people, but lately the atmosphere in the KaoS team hasn’t been great. I noticed most of my energy went into making sure the everybody was getting along smoothly. This had a negative effect on my game but most of all my fun. I realised this wasn’t working out the way we planned and my motivation dropped. All of a sudden a got a pm from Kaj, I knew he had been playing with sample-this and he told me they were interested in me as well. After a couple days of playing CoD4 & TF2, I noticed myself having fun again. Next to that I get to keep playing with Niels and Kaj, so I think we’ve got a bright future ahead of us. I do wish to thank the KaoS management for their time and devotion and the players we leave behind, good luck to all of you!"

This brings the line-up of Sample This to the following:

Netherlands Jean "JRaven" Mertz (Team manager)

Netherlands Robert "mean" Kouters
Netherlands Robin "ImpreZ" Mertz
Netherlands Kaj "Kajsk1ng” van Staalduinen
Netherlands Lars "lrs" van Everdink
Netherlands Niels "nielsson" Gosman
