kammYz leaves TEK9

Things don't seem to be going well for the Call of Duty 2 World Series of Videogames (WSVG) champions Europe TEK9. The last big victory from the team was almost half a year ago and things don't seem to be looking better either!

After taking 5-8th and 5-6th place at the last two big lans in CoD4, Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4 and Multiplay i33 respectively. The team wants to come back to the top of the European scene by winning on the Denmark eXperience and the Belgium Antwerp eSports Festival where total prizes of € 70000 will be given away. However with the team announcing today the departure of Finland Jyri "kammYz" Högman due to a lack of motivation it's going to be an uphill struggle all the way.

After the removal of kammYz, the team of captain France Antonin 'Ozwald' Grenier is in a drastic need of a 5th player to participate in the upcoming LAN and online tournaments.

This leaves TEK9 with the following lineup:

Belgium davy
France OZWALD
Netherlands haya
Netherlands strelok

Statement Jyri "kammYz" Högman: "First off I wanna thank the managament, dfb, con & everyone else for taking a controversial player like me to the team(obv. same goes to cod4 team). The truth is because of personal problems I had thought about leaving the team all the way before CDC4, but I wanted to pay them back for giving me this chance. By now I realised that was a terrible idea, I completely killed my motivation, will to play with the team and most importantly I slowed them down for the tournaments coming up this summer by forcing myself to keep playing with the team. I'm sorry about all the problems I've caused in last few months, and I hope u guys find a great fit to the team, good luck at AEF & TEX =)"

Statement of Antonin 'OZWALD' Grenier: "We decided to remove Jyri because of the problems we have been experiencing so far with our preparation for the upcoming LANs. It was fine during the CDC & i33 as our preparation wasn't too intense, but now as we are getting closer to the summer, we need to be fully prepared and we just can't, as it makes it hard for both Jyri and us to cope with the computer problems. We all wish Jyri the best of luck in whatever he tries to accomplish, and hope there are no hard feelings between us as we have been having really good times during both CDC and i33. We are now looking for a mature, preferably over 18 and coming from benelux player. Of course we will consider every application we receive as long as they remain serious and coming from real dedicated players, even if you aren't 18 or from benelux. Don't consider asking us if you don't have a good computer and good english. Thank you for your understanding."
