Last weekend CGS held a CoD4 tournament at the CGS UK/EU Combine. A total of 12 teams participated, of which 4 teams were not from the United Kingdom. The non-UK teams dominated the tournament by taking the top 3 spots.

fnatic, seeded as #1, won the tournament. It wasn't a clean-sheet, as they had to fight their way back from the lowerbracket. In the upperbracket round 2 they lost quite surprisingly against Reason Gaming with 07-13.

In the lowerbracket fnatic got their things straight, winning with clearlyninjas, Packard Bell, LowLandLions. After this streak, they had to face Reason Gaming yet again. This time they managed to win the best-of-three, humiliating Reason on the map Strike with 13-01 and winning the second map, Backlot, comfortably with 13-07.

In the lowerbracket final fnatic had to play Wizards (former Blacksouls), and found a good opponent in them. After a 1-1 in maps, fnatic pulled out a 13-05 victory in the deciding map. In the final, they had to play Dignitas.

Dignitas was seeded as #2, and was undefeated until the final. On 2 maps, fnatic pulled out a clear victory; 13-05 and 13-09, crowning themselves as the first CGS CoD4 champions.
